Err, no. front recovery is terrible, for the rear i fit a SH towbar, not ideal but good enough for me. For the front ive fitted a winch plate to the chassis rails behind the standard bumper, not fitted the recovery eye to it yet but i do plan to weld one on to the underside of the winch plate.

I have put a Jate ring on the front of my chassis on passenger side and the standard ones got to bent up the rear I use a bridle on the standard ones, but I have a towbar ready to fit when it warms up a little.
The jate ring on the front is a bit tricky to get to but it does its job. My bumper is cut down a bit witch makes it easier.

They are the most reliable thing on a land rover are'nt they, until the chassis rots away. They don't rust leak oil or break down.

Don't waste your money on heavy Jate rings as the weigh will sap even more of your power.....
Solder a couple of keyrings onto the bumper and put ur rope onto that, should be ok for a jimny?

Thats what all land rover owners do cos they think they are far superior then every one else. If I did that now Steve with my Jimny it would rip your disco in half
Beware the of the mighty Suzukis out there they should not be under estimated.

are jate rings not a bit heavy for a jimny? surely they`d bury the front end in the ground!
