hi sorry for the daft question but how do you tighten the fan belt on a 2.4 petrol maverick, i have had a look but can not get to it do i need to remove the air intake pipe and radiator?  I'm confused

just done mine on the terrano 2.4 and all you have to remove is the plastic air intake pipe from the filter.two hose clips and two 10mm bolts on top of the rad it comes off with a bit of wiggling about.
its a bit tight but quite straight forward to do.
not sure how the mav looks under the bonnet but from past experience they are identical.

thanks mate sounds the same as what i have to do just a bit tight to get in to it. Big grin
