OK, OK I'll start again!

I found this wonderful site whilst looking for snorkels on ebay!!! Big grin

btw I'm 21(ish) and a Scout Leader from Bournemouth

I'm the very proud owner of a 1980 Series III 109" FFR ex-military.

Been a LR fan for many years and now have one. Best thing I've ever done I used to renovate Morris Minors with my Dad ( we had 300 at one point) and have also had Austin A30 and there is rumours of an Austin Ruby somewhere (oh and a Sopwith Camel - but that's another story!)

The Scouts loove bombing around the place in the LR but not too keen to help with the fuel costs  I'm confused

I have browsed passed a number of times in my web travels, but never plucked up the courage to join 'til now.

Hingmy persuaded me by telling me to have a look at some of his photos that are hosted here!

Looking forward to spending some time here or hereabouts!

How did you find Mud-Club ?

I didn't, it found me. Happily sitting outside my Caravan on a warm summer evening sipping a Pina Collada (Made by Tetley) when dozens of dirty, filthy Land Rovers decended on me and set up camp in a circle around me.

First came one, so I said to the Wife "Oh look, a LR owner, better make him a cuppa"

Then came another, and another, and another and, and, and...

It turned a perfectly relaxing weekend into and even perfecter, green laning, Tixover mudddy weekend... Mud that I still can't get off by the way Smile

Loved it.

You most certainly did and I most certainly am. I liked the way you duped me into getting my shiny new 110 muddy and didn't dip a toe yourself that weekend Smile

It was great fun though. Must get some more stickers, some bast**d broke into my car a few weeks ago and smashed the window my sticker was on.

They didn't get anything though, don't you just love factory fitted cat one's  Laugh Out Loud

He he, I knew and know what Tixover is like hence no dipping of toes that day. And none in the future, still paying off the credit card from my last visit.

Theres always someone trying to spoil ya day, glad to hear they didn't make off with anything. Tim will sort you out will new stickers etc.
